Vietnamese global technology services provider FPT has renewed its partnership with Premier League club Chelsea FC for the ongoing 2026/27 season, cementing the West London football club’s focus on digital transformation, artificial intelligence and global fan engagement.
The partnership, which began last year, has delivered several technology-led initiatives, including Megastore Express, a mobile-first Click & Collect platform designed to improve the matchday retail experience, and a new official supporters club platform connecting Chelsea’s global supporter network. FPT has also developed a digital platform for events at Stamford Bridge.
Oli Boden, Partnership Sales Director at Chelsea FC, stated, “At Chelsea we are continually focused on innovating and unlocking the opportunities technology and AI-based solutions present to grow our digital presence and bring our fans closer to the club. Together we have delivered significant projects that have transformed the way in which fans can engage with the club. As we embark on the next stage of our partnership with FPT, we reaffirm our commitment to accelerating innovation and enriching the fan experience for our supporters at home and abroad.”
With Xabi Alonso at the managerial helm for Chelsea FC’s latest campaign, the club has struck a recent spate of new deals including ones with legal tech firm Legora, Roc Nation Sports International and Velocity Black.
