Dubai-based luxury real estate developer DAMAC Properties has clinched a global partnership with Premier League team Chelsea FC.
Under the deal, DAMAC has become the Premier League club’s official property development partner, which includes developing a Chelsea FC branded luxury residential project in Dubai’s Maritime City.
The development—featuring 1400 residential units—is poised to integrate luxury beachfront living with football-themed amenities, targeting international buyers and Chelsea fans seeking a premium lifestyle in the UAE.
It has also managed to secure temporary shirt sponsorship rights for both the men’s and women’s teams during the remainder of the current 2024/25 season, as the developer aims to leverage on matchday presence, digital content and global TV broadcasts

According to ASN data, football (35.8%, ~US$4.5b) continues to be the biggest draw for sponsorship investment in the Asian market since Q322, with an average quarterly investment of almost US$391.5m during this period. After a muted Q125, which saw investment dip to US$191.2m+, the Q225 forecast is poised to reach US$365.4m+, a figure closer to the usual average.
