Abu Dhabi headquartered cryptocurrency exchange CoinW has sealed a partnership with the La Liga, Spain’s elite football competition.
The deal ensures the Asian centric cryptocurrency exchange platform is the official regional crypto exchange partner of the La Liga in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The collaboration involves a series of activations such as interactive fan engagement programs, exclusive rewards and giveaway, educational campaigns on blockchain, and immersive football themed events throughout the year.
La Liga continues being a top draw for blockchain brands with the likes of crypto sportsbook Sportsbet.io and crypto exchange BitGet partnering the football league.
Following the deal, Sergi Torrents, managing director of LaLiga in Greater China, stated, “Innovation has always been at the heart of LaLiga’s approach. According to ASN data, the crypto industry has invested almost US$176.7m in the football sponsorship in Asia since Q222, with the likes of Bing X (28.3%), Tezos (26%) and Socios.Com (22.9%) dominating the spends.
