Visit Qatar has inked a five-year deal for the T100 World Tour Final alongside The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), World Triathlon and Qatar Triathlon Federation.
Under the deal, the upcoming five finals of the T100 Triathlon World Tour series will be held in Qatar, and known as the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final. The association begins with the 2025 edition taking place in Doha from December 11 to 13
Following the deal, Sam Renouf, Chief Executive at the PTO, stated,“We’ve been very clear with our strategy for the T100 Triathlon World Tour to visit iconic locations, along with our desire to position the series as a race to one ‘hero’ destination, as happens in many other professional sports.”
“This five-year partnership with Visit Qatar allows us to do exactly that, with the season-long series now being known as the T100 Race to Qatar in one of the fastest growing, family-friendly, tourist destinations in the world.”
Abdulaziz Al-Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, added, “We are delighted to partner with the Professional Triathletes Organisation to host the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final in our vibrant cities for the next five years.”

The 2025 edition of the competition will kick off in Singapore in April and contains nine races around the world, including San Francisco, Dubai, Las Vegas, London and Vancouver before the Qatar Finale.
According to ASN data, athletics (3.1%, ~US$387.3m) is the 8th largest backed sponsorship platform in the Asian sponsorship market since Q222, with an average quarterly investment of US$34m+ during this period. Marathons and triathlons are gaining in popularity in the region with subsidiary deals running anyway from US$25k to US$100k, while major ones can be up to US$1.73m.
