Leading Indian TMT steel bar manufacturer SRMB Steel has scored an endorsement from cricketing star Rohit Sharma.
The 37-year-old joins former World Cup-winning captains Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni in backing the steel manufacturer, with the trio featuring in a campaign for the 2025 IPL season.
Following the deal brokered by OneByTwo Entertainment, SRMB Director Ashish Beriwala, stated, “We have been lucky. SRMB started with the legendary Kapil Dev on board and was ably supported by MS Dhoni eight years ago. The brand has grown since then, and now we are really blessed to have Rohit complete our select trio of champions. The campaign was wonderful, and the mutual respect and admiration amongst the ambassadors was amazing to see.”
According to ASN data, SRMB Steel has invested slightly over US$1.9m+ in the Asian sponsorship market since Q322, with an average quarterly investment of US$176k during this period. The forecast for Q225 is rosy at US$305k, slightly over 1.7x of the usual average. In terms of deals, SRMB has ongoing deals with Kolkata based ISL club Mohun Bagan Super Giant (US$546k) and an endorsement deal with MS Dhoni (US$638k).
