In what is turning out to be a norm in the football sponsorship industry, Asian online bookie, K8, has struck a multi-year deal with La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.
For the next two seasons, K8— the flagship brand of Asian Gaming Group established in 2004— has become the official Asian betting partner of the Diego Simeone-helmed club.
The deal sees the football club extensively promote K8’s logo on the LED and Cam Carpet digital overlay system installed at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, allowing supporters in Asia to follow the club’s thrilling moments via the league’s regional broadcasters.
Additionally, K8 users will also have the opportunity to win exclusive ‘money can’t buy’ events such as post-match meet & greets with players and tickets to watch the squad in action.
Oscar Mayo, Atlético de Madrid, Chief Operating Officer, enthused,“This alliance with K8 will allow us to get even closer to the big Atleti family in Asia. Thanks to this agreement, fans will be able to enjoy innovative experiences from their homes while watching our matches and feel Atlético de Madrid much closer to them.”
A K8 spokesperson added,“With 11 La Liga titles, Atletico Madrid is one of the best clubs in Europe. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with such a premium football club full of traditions and passion. K8 is aiming to bring best in class entertainment and experience to millions of users and fans around the world. We are the best at what we do so this is a perfect partnership for us.”
