The three-year deal will run until 2020, with part of the agreement giving F66.com use of the Turin club’s brand and image for the promotion of its services in Asia, with the exception of China, Vietnam and Thailand. It will also hold competitions for Asian fans such as ‘Fly with the Team’, giving them the chance to travel with the Bianconeri for a European match.
Giorgio Ricci, Co-Chief Revenue Officer at Juventus, said: “This is a new and important regional sponsorship in the areas where we are experiencing the most significant growth for our club. F66 will be a benchmark partner to develop activities for our Asian fans.”
This comes right after a global Netflix documentary deal as well as two regional deals in the US$1m+ mark with Ganten Water and Djarum-owned Super Soccer platform this year. It also has a regional deal with Asian-centric fantasy sports app Ballr, which includes backing the club’s future tours of Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia.
