Italian premium motorcycle maker Aprilia is making a beeline for Indian bikers as the brand scored a celebrity endorsement with Bollywood action star John Abraham.
The 51-year-old star is known for being passionate about high-performance motorcycles and an endorsement from him personifies Aprilia’s racing heritage and legacy.
Following the announcement, John Abraham, mentioned, “I am thrilled to be associated with Aprilia as their brand ambassador. I connect with the Aprilia brand, which embodies passion, performance, and style. I am honoured to be part of a brand with such a celebrated legacy. According to ASN data, Aprilia’s last known sponsorship investment in the Asian sponsorship market was a US$100k deal with India Bike Week in 2015. Since then, it has been muted in the market, and its latest play signals a change in direction.
