Mumbai City FC’s and Indian national team attacker Vikram Partap Singh has clinched a lucrative endorsement deal with Red Bull Energy Drink.
This partnership is a major one for the 23-year-old attacker, who is emerging as a pivotal player with his energetic on-field performances in the Indian football scene. It is believed the partnership would boost his global exposure, further lifting his profile nationwide and internationally.
The partnership is also consistent with the energy drink behemoth’s commitment to collaborate with fast-rising athletes who are developing into the next big thing in their respective sporting pursuits.
According to ASN data, Red Bull (7.1%, US$10.9m+) is the 4th largest investor in the Asian sponsorship market since Q222, with an average quarterly investment of US$917.5k during this period. Some of the brand’s biggest deals in the market include backing Vietnam’s National Football Team (~US$1.1m), Chinese American freestyle skier and Olympian Eileen Gu (US$244k), motorsport racing event Asia Talent Cup (US$348k). As for India’s sponsorship scene, Red Bull has backed Pro Kabbadi League and FC Goa in recent years.
