Bookmaker 1xBet Secures Global Sponsorship Deal With Volleyball World

Betting company, 1xBet, have sealed a five-year global sponsorship deal with Volleyball World. This landmark partnership, a first for the sport, will encompass both volleyball and beach volleyball events.

The collaboration sees 1xBet leveraging on Volleyball World’s digital platforms as well as branding featured throughout live events. These will include major volleyball tournaments such as the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), Volleyball World Championships and Club World Championships, as well as marquee beach volleyball events like the Beach Pro Tour (BPT) and the Beach Volleyball World Championships.

1xBet is poised to benefit from the sport’s global appeal, securing its international exposure and brand visibility thanks to the worldwide popularity of volleyball.

Following the deal, Volleyball World CEO Finn Taylor said, “This partnership represents volleyball’s first-ever global betting sponsorship and is a response to the sport’s rising popularity. We are confident that 1xBet’s global reach will assist us in connecting with new audiences, driving the commercial growth of volleyball and further promoting the sport.”

According to ASN data, volleyball is forecasted to hit almost US$10.7m for Q224, the figure is over 1.5x of the quarterly average investment of almost US$6.9m since Q321. This trajectory in investment is poised to go up as Volleyball World continues hosting major events across the region.
