Malaysian based online bookmaker BA88 Sports has been busy striking sponsorship deals recently.
Fresh from its exclusive sponsorship with the Croatia National Football team in Asia, it has struck similar regional deals with Borussia Dortmund and Leicester City FC.
In the years to come, BA88 Sports is planning expand its brand influence and consolidate its position in Malaysia’s sports betting market through similar collaborations, while providing better experiences such as live match streaming and sophisticated betting platforms for the sizeable population of football fans and punters in the country.
According to ASN data, BA88 Sports deal with the Croatian National Football team is in the US$500k range and it is very likely the deals with Borussia Dortmund and Leicester City FC are in a similar range. However, these deals have been done in a climate where bookmaker deals in sport are often frowned upon.
