Japanese watch brand Seiko has secured a partnership with IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
Under the deal, Seiko is poised to commemorate the highs of IPL 2025 with co-branded advertisements and exclusive fan experiences.
Following the deal, Niladri Mazumder, President & COO, Seiko India, said, “Seiko has a longstanding legacy in sports, built on precision, innovation, and performance—qualities that mirror the ethos of Royal Challengers Bengaluru.”

In addition to Seiko, the likes of Puma, ConfirmTkt, Birla Estates and Navi UPI are also backing RCB this season.
According to ASN data, Seiko has invested almost US$11.1m across the Asian sponsorship landscape since Q222, with an average quarterly investment of US$925k during this period. The forecast for Q125 is tipped to hit US$891k, almost on par with the average quarterly investment, after a total investment of US$732k for the 2nd half of 2024. Historically, the Japanese watch brand is active in the world of athletics with a slew of deals between US$25k and US$2m+. It also has deals in swimming and judo, and its play with RCB showcases its ambition to be involved in the cricket world.
