Premier Padel Gets An Exclusive Sponsorship Deal With MejorSet
The Qatar Sports Investment (QSI) run Premier Padel, the sport’s latest combined elite series, has entered into an exclusive sponsorship deal with MejorSet, a Spanish padel court manufacturer.
Through this collaboration, MejorSet is now the series’ official padel court partner for the 2024-26 cycle, with the upcoming Premier Padel season set to begin in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on February 26.
The deal involves MejorSet featuring Premier Padel’s colors and branding on its Full Panoramic court range. The Riyadh tournament is also poised to have MejorSet as its official court, with specific event partnerships at more 2024 Premier Padel tournaments to follow.
Following the announcement, Premier Padel’s chief executive, Eno Polo, said, “We want to reach new fans and markets and a fully panoramic court, which offers a high-quality viewing experience whilst ensuring complete player protection, helps us to achieve our ambition and grow the sport globally through new and exciting innovations.”
According to ASN data, apart from tennis (6.7%, US$975.5m), most other racquet sports tend to have fringe status with average quarterly investment from US$260k to US$500k. This is likely to be the case for padel and the play from Qatar Sports Investment (QSI) is a massive boost for the sport’s profile in the region.
