The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has scored a slew of sponsorship deals for the ongoing Asia Cup.
Fantasy platform Super 11 Fantasy League has been named as the official title sponsor and has leveraged on the deal by providing fans with an opportunity to connect with special fantasy league for the tournament. The tournament hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka which began in August 30 will run util September 17.
Prior to this deal, ixigo, an Indian travel booking platform, had also become the competition’s official co-sponsor. Financial services platform Groww has also been named as the ‘Powered By’ sponsor.
The final will take place on September 17 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Cricket enthusiasts can enjoy the much anticipated cricket tournament competition on Star Sports and its OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar. The likes of Thums Up, Nerolac Paint, Amazon Pay, Jindal Panther, My11Circle, Samsung and Wild Stone have also signed up as official broadcast sponsors for the tournament.
According to ASN data, cricket sponsorships across Asia have been worth almost US$1.55b since Q420, with India contributing to 95.2% of this investment. The Asia Cup investment continues in a similar vein with Indian companies at the forefront.
